I got a Home Depot credit card last year. I saw some purchases I did not make. I contacted the Home Depot security office twice and they denied my claim. I faxed/ mailed them several times my ID and police report however they keep telling me that they have not received any documents. I have proof of the faxes and letters I send. They keep making excuses such as that I didnt include my account number or fraud claim number ( when I did ) or they keep giving me different fax numbers. I asked for an explanation and if the purchases were made in store or online. At first, Home Depot said the purchases were made in store then I asked for them to check the security cameras. Then they changed their story and told me that the purchases were made online. Its been several months and I hadnt had a fair resolution. They just call me day and night to remind me to pay the bill sometimes their associates are extremely rude. Even if I block the number they call me from different ones. When I try calling customer services they just transfer my call to different random people for two hours straight to finally hang up on me. This situation is been so stressful for me. Ive done everything they asked me for. However now my credit went down significantly and I was trying to built my credit to buy a house soon.
