Consumer Narrative
I've been an upstanding JCPenney customer for years with a credit limit of {$700.00} and I've always paid my bill on time and my purchases have always stayed at XXXX XXXX of my limit or less. I just found out that they reduced my limit from XXXX to XXXX because my credit score dropped due to an inquiry. They are the only one of my merchants to do this and I have an excellent record for paying all of my bills on time. I called JCPenney to discuss this and I even spoke to a manager but they said there was nothing they could do.
