Greetings Investigator : The Southeast Toyota Finance Manager at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, SC did not provide me with a Purchase Agreement at closing on Tuesday afternoon XX/XX/2021. This may be in violation of Disclosure Laws pertaining to purchase and/or sale of a new motor vehicle in most states to include Georgia and South Carolina. I requested this information via e-mail on XX/XX/2021 on three separate occasions. But XXXX XXXX, Public Relations Manager has yet to followup with to provide this information. He promised to get to the bottom of the complaint. But I have not received any information about Purchase Agreement as of today XX/XX/2021. I am not sure If I received the {$1000.00} I paid with my XXXX XXXX debit card over the phone or the {$500.00} military rebate. Finance Manger gave me a copy of Credit Report but I did not see the purchase agreement. In addition, I was very dissatisfied with Southeast Toyota 's 7 % interest rate. I have never been charged that much for a vehicle loan. Within the past year, I paid off a XXXX XXXX XXXX with Southeast Toyota and my rate was less than 3 %. Now they are charging me over 7 %. This is ridiculous. According to XXXX XXXX XXXX, my Credit score is XXXX and according to XXXX XXXX, it is XXXX. In stark contrast, According to Southeast Toyota Finance, my credit score isXXXX. This over 100 points under my credit score according to the second largest XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) in the nation and the largest bank XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in the nation. I signed documents electronically on some type of futuristic desktop that looked like a computer screen in the Finance Managers Office. Printed out copy of Credit Report to show help me understand why I received the rating. But, I was very upset about the high interest rate and left the office. Drove new vehicle home in XXXX, GA XXXX hr from XXXX South Carolina. Due to the complexity of going through a car buying process and trying to figure what they were actually doing was overwhelming and I could not deal with it very well and at times was not focused on what the finance Manager was actually saying or what it meant. I was XXXX XXXXXXXX from my job because I could not XXXX on my task or deal with complexities of the workplace in trying to complete various types of paperwork. I also have XXXX XXXX XXXX and tend to XXXX steps of the task at hand in to addition to having other medical issues not to mention the fact I can be easily XXXX and XXXX about small issues. Going through the process with the Finance Manager is strikingly similar to what I had experienced in the work place and it brought back bad memories. Sitting in the Finance Managers office, I believe I was in a sinister and evil place in which I never go through again. I believe the Finance Manager seized on my distress of the high interest rate to conceal the charges associated with purchase of the vehicle and failed to provide me a copy of the Purchase Agreement. But, instead printed out a copy the credit Report to make me believe I was receiving a purchase agreement. I believe the Futuristic XXXX XXXX Desk Top Computer Screen was used as a tool to add to the confusion and complexity. This Desk Top Computer was difficult to read and was hampered by the Plexiglass COVID-19 shield in between me and Finance Manager. A small portion of the Desk Top Computer Screen was on my side of the shield and large portion of the desk was his side. I also sent a two page letter to Toyota HQ USA, TX, Southeast Toyota Disrtibuters XXXX XXXX, FL and XXXX XXXX XXXX and awaiting a response. Below is correspondence to the dealership in order to remedy the complaint. CORRESPONDENCE TO XXXX XXXX XXXX SALES TEAM : Good Morning, XXXX : I appreciate you helping me the purchase of the XXXX. You were kind, courteous and knowledgeable. But, I am extremely unhappy with Southeast Toyota Finance for the high interest they are charging me for this vehicle. I apologize for rushing through the process yesterday with everything. But, I need to get a copy of the original Purchase agreement for the XXXX with all the numbers that show price of vehicle, taxes, dealer add ons. ect ... I am not sure if we included {$1000.00} I paid with debit card over the phone or the {$500.00} military rebate. Finance Manger gave me a copy of Credit Report but I did not see the purchase agreement. In addition, I was very dissatisfied with Southeast Toyota 's 7 % interest rate. This is a great opportunity for Southeast Toyota Finance to " right a wrong '' for a U.S. Veteran veteran who was responsible for protecting the Homeland during operation XXXX XXXX XXXX During this period, I was the XXXX XXXX XXXX responsible for ensuring that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX were loaded and ready for combat on Alert XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. We provided a protective Dome over the east Coast during this period. XXXX XXXX, Director of Public Relations, is copied on this e-mail for continuity purposes. I understand If nothing can be done at your level. But, If that is the case, Then I will go forward with complaint against Southeast Toyota. Thanks again in advance for your assistance. All other dealers in the XXXX could not help me. But XXXX XXXX XXXX is a Good dealership with great sales staff. Please let Management know Mr. XXXX is great when responding to customers and he should be recognized .... not so much with SETF.
