Consumer Narrative

Citibank blocked access to my debit card from XXXX. As an XXXX American dependent on my XXXX XXXX income, loss of access to my funds caused me great distress and anxiety. Furthermore, Citibank did not release funds to pay a bill. My debit account was blocked. The potential for harm came because I was on vacation, away from home, by myself when the account was locked. There weren't any branches anywhere near my location, at the time, California. Phone calls with Supervisors were fruitless. Citibank did send another debit card to my home address however, I was not anywhere near there.
