I originally obtained a mortgage thru XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, which was subsequently transferred to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and serviced by Rushmore Loan Management Services LLC on XX/XX/XXXX. During the height of the pandemic towards the end of XXXX I requested an extension to the loan maturity and was denied. The loan was refinanced on XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX I. Based on a payoff statement by Rushmore Loan Management Services LLC on XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$280000.00} I received a robo call approximately a month later from Rushmore Loan Management Services LLC. When I called back to inquire as to the nature of the call the representative informed me that the payoff was not met and the monies had been sent back to XXXX XXXX XXXX I., because they had ran a new payoff statement and the funds was short {$2000.00}. This was not communicated to me or the title company prior to closing and the difference in charges was referred to a additional fee we discovered after the fact, when I had the conversation with the company 's representative in mid XXXX. I questioned the additional fees and was given no explanation now the bank has filled foreclosure against me adding an additional charges for the sum total in the amount of {$290000.00}.
