I was buying an international airplane tickets through XXXX XXXX, when I was about to pay my tickets a promotion was showing at the end " save {$250.00} and earn 40,000 miles when you get an XXXX XXXX, apply now ''. I proceeded to apply and lead me to another page, when I applied, I was approved " Congratulations ... you have XXXX '' but then an email was sent to me that I would received the card between 7 to 10 business days. Which means I can't use the card to pay my tickets at the end, usually at any store when you get a new cc you can apply your purchase to the new credit card immediately but it wasn't the case with XXXX Citi bank for my XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX and explained what happened, their answer was " is not on us there is nothing we can do about it, you ave to call Citi Bank cc. When I called CitiBank, they said " you have to wait till you receive the actual card to make your purchase ''. Now, the hold for an airplane ticket in XXXX XXXX is 24 hours only, impossible for me to pay these tickets with a credit card that will arrive in 7 to 10 business days. I hope you are able to understand my history, it seems to me that XXXX XXXX and Citi bank are playing with the customers, inciting us to apply for a credit card with the misleading promise that will apply a discount and provide us millages immediately. I believe this is an unfair business practices, and should be review it by the GOV. Thank you very much for your time and hope you can look after us. Applying to a credit card is expensive, then is not fair to be plaid by these kind of wrong practices.
