I was issued a Bank of America Prepaid Visa card to access my unemployment benefits from Maryland. Every time I tried to use the card Bank of America would put a fraud hold on my card. The last time a very rude BOA employee refused to unblock my card and hung up on me. I ha s contacted BOA repeatedly asking to have the hold removed. BoA states that Maryland Unemployment must remove the hold. I have contacted Maryland multiple times they state there is no hold on my account from them and BoA is to blame. Maryland has sent messages to BoA on multiple occasions confirming there should not be a hold on my account. Last week a supervisor at BoA promised to mail me a check with the balance on my account. This week when I still had not received the check I called back, today the supervisor at BoA stated that the account was still locked and the check was canceled/not processed. I have been trying to resolve this issue for over 18 weeks, BoA is stealing my entitlements and holding them hostage. BoA refuses to provide any assistance.
