Bank of America ID reporting that I did a fraudulent check to their bank. IT wasn't me. I was the victim of identity theft. I have a police report bit the incident is prior to report date. Because I found out about the account very late. I'm not Familiar with idenity theft until I was a victim. Please help me reach out to Bank of America recovery dept. I do t owe the bank a dime. It's the reporting of something I didn't do that's hurting me. Especially when I try to get funding or a bank account. I'm a U.S citizen I do t need to try and pull phony checks to get by. I don't know who to turn to at this point.
