on XX/XX/21 around XXXX, I was notified I had a questionable charge made on my credit card. It was for nearly {$800.00} to a company I have never heard of or purchased from ( XXXX XXXX ). I immediately filed a claim with my bank ( Bank of America ) and was advised to report it to my local police department as well for good measure. My credit card is now frozen/suspended and I will be receiving a new one in the mail. They directed me to also make this claim and a precaution and way of documenting this incident. As far as I know, my bank is not holding me responsible for the charge and will monitor my account for the time being.
