ON XX/XX/XXXX MY SYNCHROBNY BANK MASTER CARD WOULD NOT WORK AT A SAMS GAS PUMP ... .THE CARD WAS LOCKED IN THE READER & A MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED CHIP LOCKED ... .THUS I COULD NOT MAKE PURCHASE '' I WENT HOMEIMMEDIATELY STRESSING CARD HAD BEEN HACKED & CALLED SYNCHRONY BANK ( XXXX ) & WAS TOLD THEY CHANGED FROM CHIPTECHNOLOGY TO SWIPE & NEW CARD WITH SAME ACCOUNT NUMBER WAS MAILED & WOULD ARRIVE IN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS. AS A DIRECT RESULT OF SYNCHRONY BANK TAKING THIS ACTION & NOT NOTIFYING ME OF CHANGE MY AUTO PAY COMPANY PAYMENTS STARTED BEING DECLINED GIVEN NEW EXPIRATION DATE ON NEW CARD WHICH THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME OVER PHONE. FIRST, XXXX XXXX, AUTO & HOMEOWNER BILLS WERE REJECTED ... THAN XXXX ... THIS SITUATION REQUIRED ME TO CALL SYNCHRONY THREE TIMES, UNTIL SYNCHRONY BANK AGENT AGREED BY XX/XX/21 THE CARD MAILED ON XX/XX/21 WAS LOST. THEY THAN ISSUED A NEW CARD & PER MY REQUEST SENT IT XXXX XXXX TO ARRIVE THE MORNIG OF XX/XX/21. AFTER WAITING AT HOME THE ENTIRE DAY, THE CARD ARRIVED AT XXXX XXXX. I THEN HAD TO NOTIFY & SIGN INTO 8 DIFFERENT COMPANIES TO SUPPLY NEW CREDIT CARD NUMBER. NOW XXXX SENT ME A NOTIFICATION THAT MY CREDIT SCORE DROPPED 5 POINTS DUE TO LOST CREDIT CARD. I FEEL THIS COMPANY, SYNCHRONY BANK S PRACTICES PLACING A CREDIT CARD IN THE MAIL VERSUS XXXX OR XXXX XXXX IS NEGLIGENT. THEY CAUSED ME TO EXPEND AT LEAST 8 HOURS OF MY TIME FOLLOWING UP WITH THEM, CORRECTING THE CREDIT CARD NUMBER FOR MY USERS & OPENED ME UP TO FRAUD BY LOOSING THE CARD IN THE MAIL. NOT GIVING ME NOTICE OF THIS CHANGE WAS XXXX XXXX ON THEIR PART. IN SUMMARY, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD AHEAD OF TIME A NEW CARD WAS COMING & THEY SHOULD MAIL CREDIT CARDS BY XXXX XXXX OR XXXX SO THEY CAN BE TRACKED.
