Hello. I submitted a {$2000.00} payment to my Citi Premier card on XX/XX/XXXX. At the time of making the payment I was told that it was applied to my available credit immediately. I later checked online and found out it wasn't applied, so I called in and was told it would be applied to my available credit on the next day. On XX/XX/XXXX I called and was told it still wasn't credited and was on hold until XXXX. However, I was told that I could call in after it cleared my bank and it would be applied. On XX/XX/XXXX I called in and confirmed that it was still on hold until XXXX. Since it still didn't show as cleared with my bank I was told I had to wait and call back when it had cleared. On XXXX the payment had finally cleared my bank on XX/XX/XXXX, so I called in and was told that they would not call my bank, and instead I had to wait until XXXX. That is unacceptable for Citibank to hold my payment for 10 days without allowing me to use it. Especially since I was told differently three different times. Citi must be held accountable and live up to what they say.
