I started the mortgage process on XX/XX/XXXX and have the mortgage closed on XX/XX/XXXX. I want to file a claim regarding JPMorgan Chase bank, the loan officer XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), and his XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The claim is regarding the following issues : 1. Negligence during the mortgage process. Because of the negligence of loan officer, my closing got delayed and I was charged a closing adjournment fee of {$4900.00} because of the the delay. During the process I have been submitting required material no later than one day after requested, but the process keeps been delayed for over 3 month. Through out the one 3 month process, I've been trying to follow up on the mortgage process, but XXXX barely pick up my phone calls, instead of picking up my phone call, he called me back just IN SOME CASES. I found him picking up phone calls pretty quick when my attorney called him though. He is also lagged in email response. On XX/XX/XXXX, the first scheduled closing date, I hear nothing from the bank and I'm unable to get my phone call through. On XX/XX/XXXX, which is the deadline for closing, the bank is still waiting for appraisal report, while the sponsor said that appraisal report was provided on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, closing was scheduled on XX/XX/XXXX, it got delayed to XX/XX/XXXX because the loan officer forgot to ask me to sign for waiver of Three-day review of appraisal/valuation form. The adjournment fee gets increase from {$3800.00} to {$4900.00} because of this delay. 2. Share deceptive information to me about adjournment fee reimbursement. Before the closing deadline XX/XX/XXXX. I was told by attorney that if the closing is delayed beyond that date, I'll be charged an adjournment fee per day, the amount total is {$4900.00}. The loan officer told me that I don't have to worry because bank will reimburse this adjournment fee for me, but I need pay out of my pocket when closing first, then the bank will work on reimbursement. I trusted him, and the bank. On XX/XX/XXXX, I went for closing and paid for the adjournment fee. Provided all required material to XXXX for reimbursement. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX told me the application for reimbursement has not been approved and when I asked for reason of reject, he said bank never guarantee to close on time so it is normal for mortgage closing being delayed, which makes no sense to me, and make his promise of reimbursement a lie.
