I am filing this complaint against Bank of America for systematically obstructing my legal right to dispute a fraudulent transaction under the Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ). Transaction : {$74.00} to XXXX on XX/XX/year>. The Issue : The merchant failed to deliver the items and provided a falsified XXXX tracking number ( XXXX ) which does not exist in the XXXX system. Bank Obstruction : > XXXX. The BofA App refused to process the dispute online. XXXX. I called BofA twice. The first time, after entering my sensitive info, the system disconnected. The second time, I was placed on hold for over XXXX minutes with no callback option. BofA is effectively holding my funds XXXX and protecting a fraudulent merchant by disabling all support channels.
