I have been a Bank of America customer since XXXX. From XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX I received consistent monthly autopay confirmation emails confirming my enrollment was active. I have documentation of these emails. In XX/XX/XXXX these emails stopped. I received no notification from Bank of America that my autopay was canceled or that any action was required on my part. On XX/XX/XXXX a 30 day late payment was reported on my credit report. I did not miss this payment intentionally. I had autopay active and was receiving confirmation of this every month for over three years. I was never told it ended. I contacted Bank of America immediately upon discovering this and spoke with a supervisor. I was told this could not be removed under their goodwill policy. However I am not requesting goodwill. I am disputing a late payment that resulted from an account change I was never made aware of and never authorized. I have over a decade of history with Bank of America and documented proof of active autopay enrollment spanning three years. I am requesting removal of the XX/XX/XXXX late payment from my credit report as it does not accurately reflect my payment behavior given the circumstances.
