I am submitting this complaint regarding inaccurate billing and credit reporting related to a CareCredit account issued by Synchrony Bank for services from a medical spa. On XX/XX/year>, I had an appointment at a medical spa for a promotional microblading service. My understanding at the time of booking and service was that this promotion applied to XXXX visit only, which is the only visit I attended. After the service was completed, the provider offered a package of additional services and submitted a CareCredit application on my behalf. I was approved for approximately {$3400.00} and a follow-up appointment was scheduled for XX/XX/year>. I did not attend this appointment and did not receive any additional services beyond the initial visit on XX/XX/year>. On the following Monday, I contacted the medical spa to cancel the package. I also contacted Synchrony Bank/CareCredit to notify them that I was canceling the package and should not be charged for services that were never rendered. Despite this, charges for the full package were posted to my CareCredit account. I submitted a dispute with CareCredit and Mailed documentation on XX/XX/year> including : Receipts for payments made ( {$50.00} and {$10.00} ) Email documentation indicating the service was a promotional microblading offer Explanation that no additional services were received I was informed that the documentation was not received, and a second dispute was initiated. Both disputes were resolved in favor of the medical spa, despite the fact that the additional services were never rendered. As a result, I am being charged nearly {$4000.00} for services I did not receive, and this balance is now being reported on my XXXX credit report. The receipt being relied upon reflects a package of services that were canceled and never performed. I am requesting : Correction or removal of charges for services not rendered Correction of inaccurate credit reporting Adjustment of the account balance to reflect only the single promotional service actually received. Or Individual Receipts of services they say i received dates and times as well Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.
