I had a Chase Bank account that was closed and when I tried to reopen a new account, I was able to do so, even after paying off balances owed. I went into a Chase branch and was able to effectively open an account, even after the banker that assisted was able to contact the Fraud Department and confirmed that I was okay to move forward with the process. Well after getting the account opened, I received an email from Chase informing me they were closing my accounts without giving me a reason and when I called, the representative rudely state that they have the right to close accounts without disclosing any information, especially to a consumer that's given them all personal info, like my social security information. For the longest I don't understand what possibly could have happened and I don't think it's right for them to do that. I would like this reviewed please.
