In the last 30 days, somebody has attempted to use my personal information to open an account with XXXX XXXX. I also received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX claiming somebody tried to use my credit information to open a deposit account. I also received an e-mail from XXXX, which is a finance company that I had used in the past where it appears someone tried to reactivate my old line of credit. Today I received an e-mail from Chase regarding my business visa cards where someone tried to charge a small purchase of around XXXX which they declined. I've had 4 instances now in the last 30 days that I know of. I reported a " Fraud Alert '' to XXXX. XXXX XXXX confirmed that the fraudster ( s ) used a drivers license ( fake one ) as the license number and expiration did not match mine. It was suggested to me, by my creditors, to report these matters to the FTC.
