Dear Sir/Madam, I regularly travel between XXXX and XXXX and primarily use XXXX XXXX for my travel. I am also an existing XXXX Citi Bank cardholder. I have attempted to apply for an XXXX XXXX AAdvantage credit card, but my application has been declined each time after a credit check on my SSN. I applied on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and most recently on XX/XX/XXXX. During a recent flight, I was provided with a promotional code by the XXXX XXXX inflight team and attempted to apply again using that offer ; however, the application was declined again on XX/XX/XXXX. I am only having 1 credit card in my name and the other two cards i hold are add on cards from my husband 's account. So i am not understanding the reason for rejecting my credit card application repeatedly despite of having a good credit score and less no of credit checks. I have requested the citi bank to review my application and advise if any additional information or documentation is required from my side to support approval but haven't heard from them so far. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in helping resolve this matter. if it is not possible to approve, i am requesting CITI Bank to remove the 3 credit checks on my SSN as this is impacting my credit score unnecessarily. For every check it costed me almost XXXX points dip in my credit score. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your guidance.
