Consumer Narrative

I filed a dispute on XX/XX/XXXX and was told that I would receive provisional credit by XX/XX/XXXX. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I still have not received a credit to my account or any letter saying that my claim was denied ; however, when I called the fraud department I was told that it was denied because I was aware of the charges because of my app use or something. I explained to them that I informed them at the time the claim was filed that I never received any alerts and when I did open the app it was initially saying all the attempts to charge my card failed, but then it said they were pending. I immediately tried to dispute them and the app told me that I had to wait for the charges to officially post before I could dispute them and instructed me to reach out to the merchant, XXXX, and try to resolve it with them, which I did and was told by XXXX that unfortunately I would have to dispute the charges with my bank so I filed the dispute. I originally filed a complaint on XX/XX/XXXX to avoid delays and now I am making this complaint because they have exceeded the 10 business days allotted by Federal Regulation E and should immediately credit my account for the full amount of the claim, {$550.00}. I received an email from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX telling me that XXXX XXXX is my point of contact and that I was assigned case number XXXX regarding my last CFPB inquiry. The email said that I could reach XXXX at ( XXXX ) XXXX which I did immediately and reached her voicemail as the number goes directly to voicemail each time. I left several voicemails over the next few days and finally got a call back on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX but XXXX acted as if she couldnt discuss my account because she couldnt verify me even though I accurately provided the CVC from the back of my card, XXXX, and provided her with my birthdate and proper mailing address thats on my account. She then proceeded to end the call in my face. I called back several times and left numerous voicemails asking her to call me back because I was going to the XXXX XXXX location in XXXX XXXX were my account was opened to have them verify my account since she was lying about not being able to with the information provided so I was going with two forms of ID and my card, but she never called. I have followed up each day this week but she has not returned my phone call. I also requested an explanation as to why my account says it was opened in AR when Ive never been to AR and the account was opened in California.
