To Whom It May Concern : I am submitting this formal complaint regarding an inaccurate account entry on my XXXX credit report. The account in question is a Wayfair-branded Citibank credit account, which is being reported as having a balance of approximately {$300.00}. This information is incorrect. I have contacted Citibank, the issuer of my Wayfair credit card, and they have confirmed that my account has maintained a XXXX balance for nearly a year, following full payment of the balance. I have attached a recent Citibank statement verifying that there is no balance owed. Additionally, I have never received any correspondence from the company or entity currently reporting this account as a collection. There have been no letters, emails, or phone calls regarding any alleged debt or outstanding balance. As a military spouse residing at XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I am not required to change my home address under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act ( SCRA ). Therefore, any claim that correspondence was sent but not received is invalid, as I have had no communication whatsoever regarding this matter. The inaccurate report of this alleged balance is causing unwarranted harm to my credit reputation. I respectfully request that the CFPB investigate this issue and require XXXX and the company reporting the account to remove the inaccurate collection entry immediately in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ).
