I never received or had the physical card in my possession from when opportun bank switched over to revel because I still had a balance on my account of {$130.00}. I just paid the balance off on XX/XX/year> to finally have a physical card sent to me. I didnt receive it in the mail. On XX/XX/XXXX, two fraudulent charges were made on the credit card for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$47.00} and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$250.00}. I dont live in XXXX XXXX I dont work in XXXX. I would have no reason to be there. I wasnt aware of the charges until I received the statement in the mail and I immediately called and reported the card stolen. The charges were taken off and an investigation was conducted. After their investigation it was determined that no error occurred. And the response below is what I was given by the cardholder dispute services for XXXX XXXX. We have come to this conclusion because : Your physical card was present where the CHIP was authenticated at the merchant 's terminal, with no errors, and the card was in your possession when the transaction occurred. Now the balance on the account is getting higher because I dont believe I should be paying for charges that I DID NOT MAKE. I feel like Im being scammed by this credit card company.
