In XXXX of XXXX I went into Best Buy, I opened a cc and purchased a lap top. I received my first statement and paid it in full, {$1800.00}, by mailing a check in the provided envelope. It was check number XXXX, and they processed it electronically. It posed from my bank account on XX/XX/XXXX, the due date in the statement was XX/XX/XXXX. Citi bank is claiming they did not receive the money, I have tried to resolve this with them, I have sent a letter to the better business bureau, they have sent me to multiple collection agencies, and I always got back to them trying to resolve this. I am now being sued by Citi Bank for something that I paid for! I have attached my bank statement and the letter I wrote to the better business bureau. I would like to also file a complaint here. You can see that on my credit report I have never been late or not paid a bill before, and the exact amount is withdrawn from my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I dont feel they have done anything other than accuse me of not paying instead of investigating and actually figuring out what they did with the payment. Its just another situation of being in taken advantage of a large corporation.
