This is a second complaint against CITI Simplicity MasterCard. Their customer service phone number on the back of the credit card is XXXX The company name is not listed on page 5, that's why I put the information here. I did a balance transfer from Citi to another credit card, since I am disgusted with Citi 's poor business practices, willingness to work with customers. This is now the second complaint I'm filing against them since XX/XX/XXXX. The XX/XX/XXXX statement was listed as XXXX. The balance as of XX/XX/XXXX was {$2400.00} The due date was XX/XX/XXXX The balance transfer payments from the new credit card to Citi were : XX/XX/XXXX XXXX 's XXXX {$4.00} XX/XX/XXXX payment {$2000.00} XX/XX/XXXX payment {$440.00} ________________________________ = {$2400.00} ( * * * * * Again, this amount was NOT DUE UNTIL XX/XX/XXXX Therefore on XX/XX/XXXX, MY BALANCE WAS XXXX, I OWED NOTHING!!!!! However, that didn't stop Citi from sending me an inane statement for XXXX alleged billing period XXXX with a " new balance '' as of XX/XX/XXXX for {$12.00} I was unaware of this, until XX/XX/XXXX and I immediately called Citi to XXXX why I was being charged interest on a XXXX balance that was paid in full BEFORE the XX/XX/XXXX due date. The customer service rep said it was residual interest, that he didn't have anyway to remove it, but would transfer me to his supervisor for them to remove it. Mind you, I didn't ask for the supervisor, the XXXX automatically transferred me. The supervisor was nothing but a miserable XXXX who refused to remove the {$12.00} and even LIED to me claiming I didn't pay before the due date! I have my credit card statements PROVING that the entire {$2400.00} balance was paid in full on XX/XX/XXXX, WELL BEFORE THE XX/XX/XXXX due date. Since he refused to cooperate, I told him to immediately close my account. Then Citi further scams me in sending me another idiotic statement claiming I owe XXXX The alleged the billing period was XXXX, with a new balance of {$13.00} due XX/XX/XXXX. Although I paid the {$12.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, they CONTINUE TO CHARGE ME INTEREST ON A XXXX BALANCE ON A CLOSED ACCOUNT, I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED AND THEY ISSUE A WRITTEN APOLOGY SHOWING I OWE NOTHING!!!!! This company is nothing but a freaking scam! My balance was at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I OWE THEM NOTHING, THEY OWE ME A REFUND OF {$13.00}
