The company miscalculated my escrow balances, making me pay more for escrow for the next year. I tried to seek clarification on why my escrow deposit from XX/XX/XXXX was omitted in calculating the beginning escrow balance in the new year, but all the clarification I received was that it was the way computer programs work. The company workers ( I made XXXX calls, which overall took me the entire business day ) insisted the escrow is correct. My beginning escrow balance as of XX/XX/XXXX will be XXXX ( the company uses an incorrect beginning balance of XXXX ), assuming timely payment. My base escrow is the total disbursements to be made during the year ( XXXX homeowners insurance, XXXX city taxes, XXXX XXXX taxes = XXXX divided by XXXX = XXXX ). The company uses the correct base amount. However, it uses the incorrect lowest point in escrow of XXXX, while the actual correct balance would be XXXX. The minimum is XXXX. The company asks me to pay XXXX + XXXX = XXXX XXXX = XXXX per month while the actual should be XXXX - XXXX = XXXX = XXXX. Therefore, they make me overpay XXXX per month or a total of XXXX of escrow without any reason or legal or regulation base. I am attaching the beginning balance of escrow XXXX I have on my XXXX statement, which also shows the projected deposit of escrow XXXX, which can be used to the projected escrow balance as of XX/XX/XXXX. I am also attaching the escrow analysis from the company, which baselessly misses my XX/XX/XXXX deposit of XXXX escrow.
