On XX/XX/XXXX I was gifted a {$50.00} XXXX gift card, and I opened it the information was completely scratched. This specific card didnt have engraving only a printed on number that appeared to have been scratched off completely. I called the number on the back only to have to keep repeating myself, the customer service employee provided no help and I had to come to my own resolution and ask him if it was easier to call the store and show the receipt for the card. I showed my cousin ( the one that gifted me the card ) and she called to have the issue resolved on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX she finally got the confirmation that a new card would be send in the mail. She gave it to me once it came, and now Im in possession of the card. As of XX/XX/year> I am now attempting at using it. Unfortunately it did not come activated, the sticker on the card stated to call a number to activate it, so I did. I attempted multiple times to enter my new cards number with no success I even got the phone hanged up on me multiple times!! Absolutely appalling that there is no one to help over the line, no button to indicate that all I need is to activate the card. I went on the website on the back of the card hoping to at least ensure that the balance is correct and was not able to log in due to a system error. I am incredibly, frustrated, aggravated and disgusted that there are no issues to resolve this matter and am only let to methods that dont work. I plan to take legal action if this doesnt get resolved soon. So disappointed. The receipt given is of the very first gift card that had its numbers scratched off.
