This is the response I received from Chase today : PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT CREDIT PARTY ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS REQUESTING RETURN OF FUNDS. AS OF TODAY WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE. WE REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE ATTEMPT RECOVERING FUNDS THROUGH LEGAL MEANS. IN THE EVENT THEY SUBSEQUENTLY CONTACT US, WE WILL ADVISE YOU ACCORDINGLY This is not in alignment with the recipient bank 's response ( attached to this complaint ) that they had already received the request and responded, asking for a hold harmless agreement. I called Chase multiple times to confirm, and they kept claiming that they never received a response from the recipient bank. So one of these two banks is lying about their communication, and I have been going back and forth between the two banks that both argue they are waiting on the other.
