I am submitting additional information regarding my complaint against Portfolio Recovery Associates. After I submitted my complaint, Portfolio Recovery Associates contacted me with a generic payment solicitation email. They did not address the issues in my complaint and did not provide any of the documentation I requested. They have still not provided : Validation of the debt Proof of the original creditor agreement Proof of ownership/chain of title An accurate breakdown of the balance Documentation supporting the dates and status they are reporting Instead, they sent me an email directing me to make payments. This means PRA is attempting to collect a debt while the account is in dispute and during an active CFPB investigation, without first providing validation. This is non-compliant with federal regulations and does not resolve my complaint.
