back in XXXX, XXXX credit card was charged off, I thought it was written off. it was for a gas credit card, for a XXXX XXXX dollars. XX/XX/XXXX Portfolio Recovery filed a writ of garnishment XX/XX/XXXX Received a letter from Judge regarding writ of garnishment XX/XX/XXXX contacted an attorney XX/XX/XXXX called Portfolio Recovery to get information about debt XX/XX/XXXX sent Certified check by certified mail for Payment in full {$1000.00}. XX/XX/XXXX called XXXX XXXX to verify payment received by them XX/XX/XXXX contacted XXXX requesting a Stop order XX/XX/XXXX Contacted Portfolio Recovery and provided fax # to send stop order to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX called XXXX, they had not received stop order XX/XX/XXXX Called Portfolio Recovery, asked again to send stop order * for the entire month of XXXX, Portfolio Recovery continued garnishing wages in amount of XXXX 2 letters were sent to Portfolio Recover by my attorney on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX requesting a refund. No answer from them from either letter. XX/XX/XXXX Portfolio Recovery still has not issued my refund and they have sent several notices saying my balance was {$0.00}.
