Consumer Narrative
Late XX/XX/year>- I downgraded Chase Reserve credit card to Chase Preferred as I did not want to pay {$790.00} annual fee. XXXX XX/XX/year> - received new card, my online account showed Chase Preferred instead of Chase Reserved. XX/XX/year> - charged the Chase Reserve fee and reached out multiple times to Chase customer service. One Chase associate told me Id have to pay the fee this year despite not having any of those benefits. Ended up going to the branch with a promise to escalate, but this charge should have been immediately erased as it was an error on Chases part. Can not even dispute it online. Fradulant charge.
