Subject : Complaint Regarding Closed Citibank Account and Inaccessible Funds Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to file a formal complaint against Citibank regarding my closed bank account and the inability to access the remaining funds that were in the account. Issues of Concern : Citibank closed my account without notifying me, despite having funds remaining in the account. I was denied any accessible method of communication, such as email, even though international customers may not be able to call easily. I have been given no instructions on how to reclaim my own funds. As a foreign resident outside the XXXX, I am left with no practical or fair way to resolve this issue directly with Citibank. I have made every reasonable attempt to resolve this with Citibank directly, but the lack of communication options has made it impossible. I appreciate your assistance and attention to this issue.
