I had a data breach in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX a charge was put on my Citicard account for {$2000.00} for Best Buy. This was not mine. {$2000.00} was reversed, uncertain as to date. On XXXX {$2000.00} was charged again. On XX/XX/XXXX I filed an incident/investigation report with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX I was charged {$29.00} late fee. On XX/XX/XXXX I was charged {$58.00} interest. On XX/XX/XXXX I was charged a {$40.00} late fee. On XX/XX/XXXX I was charged {$57.00} interest. On XX/XX/XXXX, {$57.00} interest was reversed and {$58.00} interest was reversed and {$29.00} late fee was reversed and {$40.00} late fee was reversed. On XX/XX/XXXX statement {$2000.00} was reversed. I wrote XXXX letters, had XXXX phone calls and received at least XXXX pieces of mail from Citi. Every time I wrote, I reiterated that I didn't want this to affect my credit report. To add confusion to the issue, on all of the written correspondence, three different account numbers are used. Additionally, I have received info from XXXX, which could be related. My credit report with Experian shows a drop of XXXX points on my score and this account as being late. I was in communication from the very beginning of this issue and continued communication. And yet, Citi rewards me by dinging me for being late. I have 50 pages of scanned documentation, but the file is to big to upload.
