In XX/XX/year>, XXXX XXXX property taxes became delinquent and were referred to XXXX, a collection law firm. I did not receive clear notice from XXXX XXXX about my right under state law to enter a payment plan before referral. When I attempted to call XXXX, their phone system disconnected every time, preventing me from arranging payment or speaking with anyone. Without giving me a meaningful opportunity to resolve the tax bill directly with XXXX XXXX, Rocket Mortgage advanced escrow funds and paid the full delinquent tax amount, including approximately {$4000.00} in XXXX attorney/collection fees. I was not properly notified in advance in a way that would have allowed me to address the issue myself. As a result of this involuntary disbursement, Rocket Mortgage performed an escrow recalculation that increased my monthly mortgage payment from approximately {$5000.00} to approximately {$8000.00} starting in XX/XX/year>. This sudden increase is unmanageable and has made the XXXX payment unpayable. This payment shock was caused entirely by XXXX XXXX actions, not by any failure on my part to communicate or pay.
