I am filing this complaint because Bank of America denied my fraud claim for a {$540.00} XXXX transaction that I did NOT authorize and did NOT receive. XXXX provided a XXXX document stating delivered, but that does not prove that I personally received the item, nor that it was delivered to me. I never saw the package, and it never came into my possession. Bank of America closed the case without verifying essential information such as the delivery XXXX coordinates, delivery photo, or the name/signature of the person who supposedly received the package. A simple delivered status from XXXX is not proof that the correct person received the package or that the order was legitimate. I am requesting that Bank of America reopen the fraud claim and conduct a complete investigation. I should not be held responsible for a charge for merchandise that I did not order and that never arrived to me. The banks initial review was incomplete and did not consider the possibility of misdelivery, theft, or unauthorized use of my information. I am asking the CFPB to ensure that Bank of America provides a full, fair, and proper fraud investigation as required by law. Thank you.
