I was buying furniture and Synchrony Bank was offering XXXX percent financing. I applied jointly, even though I had ample funds to purchase the furniture. I call the bank as instructed and since my spouse wasnt available they wanted to turn me down Fortunately my wife walked in talked to the bank and in trying to use their XXXX XXXX requirements we ran into issues. They the turned us down and said this would go against our credit report. We both enjoy XXXX XXXXedit ratings and believe we are being unduly penalized. I have since punched the furniture and used another company. Synchrony bank should remove this stain on our credit which is the result of a XXXX minute phone call.
