On XX/XX/year>, me and my girlfriend arrived at XXXX department store. My complaint is that upon purchase of a pole barn at XXXX department store, I was told i needed to apply for only XXXX card to purchase a pole barn and some tools. My girlfriend was a witness. A representative of XXXX processed XXXX store credit card for us. The store representative acknowledged there was an oversight on his part. He noticed that after we were approved of the first card, there was insufficient funds available with the store credit we were approved for. We were told by the store " rep '' ( representative ), that in order to get the complete purchased we needed to apply for another card. I reluctantly did so. The sales rep ( we have his name and title ) told us along with another sales rep that we could trick the " system, '' eventually we had to apply for multiple cards to finish the purchase. The whole process took an entire week. As of today, i am paying extremely high interest rates and we do not understand exactly what we are paying for. there were multiple cards canceled and reissued. I am a veteran ; we are senior citizens.
