On XX/XX/year> XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX charged {$3500.00} to my card. Around XX/XX/year> I received notification from my XXXX XXXX asking if the transaction was fraud. I confirmed that the charge was mine and a valid charge. They advised they would release the pending fraud hold and pay the merchant since I confirmed. In reviewing my statement I can see where the charges were present and payment is due on them. On XX/XX/year> I received a notification from the merchant that a chargeback for a lessor amount of {$3000.00} had been received from XXXX and that I owed them payment directly. Myself and the merchant conducted a 3way call with XXXX who advised no charge back was initiated. Myself and the merchant requested an investigation be conducted on the {$3000.00} and proof of actual payment be provided. XXXX has provided nothing. Each time I call they open an escalation that goes no where. No proof of payment has been provided and no resolution offered. At this time the merchant is pursuing legal action against me stating that I attempted to defraud them.
