According to information provided to me, an account was opened on XXXX XXXX2025 without my knowledge or consent. I immediately filed a complaint withXX/XX/XXXX and XXXX when I noticed a new account on my report. I also contacted the company, Macy's/Citibank ( Macy 's ) and reported that the account was fraudulently opened. Macy 's stated that they did an investigation and denied my claim. No specific details have been provided to me to show how the account was opened. Therefore, I can't determine the origin of the fraud and or sufficiently dispute how it was opened. The account has been closed, however, the company is reporting that payments are pass due. In addition, I never received the credit card. This is affecting my credit score. In addition, I did not received any details of the charges that did process so that I could dispute those as well. I have spoken to several representatives with the company since XX/XX/scrub> 2025 and have not been able to resolve the issue and get the late payments removed from my credit report.
