I called to open a cd account with Marcus by Goldman and Sacks online bank. I was denied to open a cd account. The reason I was told was that they could not identify me. I gave them my full name and address and phone number ss number. I am a us citizen and been at my address for 34 yrs. I ask them who they used to verify my ID but they refused to tell me. I have no issues with XXXX and other banks I use in proving who I am. I feel discriminated against. This is unfair and I want to know who and why I was denied.
