On the XXXX of XXXX I sent Apple Pay the full {$1000.00}. On the app it stated pay in full by the XXXX to avoid interest of {$47.00}. XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notice that {$47.00} was applied to my account. I called them immediately. They said it was due to trailing interest of {$8.00} that was en route? I wasn't notified about this route or I would have paid it. Looking into it, I found that the {$8.00} was a refund from a supermarket that had overcharged me. Apple refused to refund the interest. They claimed that on XX/XX/2025 they had already refunded me the interest I complained about then, so they couldn't help me. Well on XX/XX/2025 I also paid in full on the XXXX and was charged interest in XXXX. What is trailing interest and how is Apple allowed not to inform about this so the cardholder can make a payment?? Also since the {$8.00} was a refund not a purchase how can they get away with this nefarious practice?
