I initiated a wire for {$10000.00} at XX/XX/XXXX on XXXX at XXXXXX/XX/XXXXXXXX ). The wire was sent by XXXXXX/XX/XXXXto Chase Bank account # XXXX on XXXX at XXXX. The beneficiary was named as XXXX XXXX XXXX. The wire was immediately rejected on Chase Bank 's end due to the receiving account not allowing wire transactions. The account was a Secure Banking Checking account which is a Chase product that does not accept wire transfers. Chase Bank employees at the XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX branch have verified that the money was immediately rejected and sent back to XXXXXX/XX/XXXXat XXXX on XXXX. The money never posted to the Chase account on the receiving end. We also discovered that the account was in the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is second reason why the money did not post to the receiving account. The beneficiary info did not match. I have tried to call Chase 's wire department but they refuse to give me any further info on the return of my {$10000.00}. I do not have the money returned to my account and it has been 20 days.
