contacted XXXX 's XXXX XXXX to inquire about obtaining an HVAC system. On Monday XX/XX/year> a sales person from Air Experts ( sub-contractor for XXXX 's ) arrived at my residence to give me an estimate. Prior to his arrival, I had already inquired with another company for an estimate to get an idea of the coast. They quoted me {$5400.00} for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX the sales person for Air Experts, initially was quoting me {$8000.00}. I explained to him that I had received an estimate for the {$5400.00} and wanted to keep it in that price range. XXXX, contacted his Manager XXXX for authorization for the amount of {$6000.00}. XXXX said Okay and the appointment for the installation was scheduled. I put the entire amount on my Lowe 's credit card. I was never given a written quote as per XXXX 's website indicated. Fast forward to the day of the installation ; XXXX installers arrived at my residence and proceeded with the installation without explaining anything to us, such as make model, unit size, efficiency etc. Upon completion of the install, the installer had me sign several documents on his work XXXX. At this point, the invoice reflected an amount of {$10000.00}, which was obviously an error on their behave. XXXX contacted the company and the new invoice was sent to me via email and indicated the correct amount that was quoted to me in the amount of {$6000.00}. I also noticed on the invoice the unit was a much lower grade than the XXXX XXXX quoted me. A XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was installed. When I raised the issue, the installer and XXXX 's failed to receive it. I then canceled with both companies ' vis email/text within the XXXX hours period. Neither companies responded nor did they acknowledge my request. I recently discovered that the unit they installed is almost XXXX years old. I have quested a replacement of the system however XXXX XXXX declined and said it was not possible because the system is already registered to me. They have come back with an offer of {$3000.00} with no warranty and I keep the system. I declined. Their final offer was for Air Experts to remove the condenser and coil from the HVAC system. I have disputed these charges with Synchrony ( XXXX XXXX ) at least XXXX times and they keep sending me a letter saying Im responsible for the full amount. I have mailed Synchrony card services XXXX pages of emails and text messages which is only a small fraction of proof of cancellation etc. I have recently been diagnosed with XXXX and have stated to XXXX CEO via email as well as XXXX XXXX that this emotional distress was not healthy for my well being however we still could not agree on a fair resolution.
