On XX/XX/year>, I faxed a written request to Carrington Mortgage Services at XXXX XXXX, requesting a waiver of an escrow shortage of {$7900.00} caused by the prior servicer, XXXX, failing to perform required annual escrow analyses and update the account after receiving actual property tax bills. Carrington acknowledged receipt on XX/XX/year>, but failed to provide any written response or resolution within the 30-business-day period required by RESPA ( 12 CFR 1024.35 ( d ) ). As of today, I have not received a written reply. Because of these combined servicing errors : -My mortgage payment increased by over {$1100.00} per month. -I was told that if I did not pay, I would receive a late payment on my credit report, jeopardizing my ability to utilize the streamline refinance options. -My FHA streamline refinance was blocked unless I paid over {$7000.00} in shortage out-of-pocket at closing. -I have extensive documentation, including tax assessments, escrow histories, the fax confirmation, and Carringtons acknowledgment letter.
