I have made payments to my citi card on ONTIME on a regular basis. Twice this year - once in XXXX and the second occurance in XXXX- I paid my credit card in full from the citi app and it was not posted. It is impossible for me to know whether or not a payment has really posted until the day after it should have been posted. Twice this year, I went to my bank account and noticed that the on time payment was not collected -- and then I paid the full balance as soon as I noticed. It is well known that Citibank has operational issues. It is not appropriate for customers to pay for these failures. I have called Citibank repeatedly to see relief. In most cases they promised a supervisor would call me at an appointed time -- then they never call. The last instance I started recieving communications from their corporate affairs department - at first with no information stating that they would get back to me -- then finally they sent me an email that after 20 minutes of trying, I was never able to open the communication. I do not know what it said and the systems for opening the message lead into a dead end.
