We respectfully request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureaus assistance regarding Relay Financials handling of our business account closure and withheld funds. I, XXXX XXXX XXXX, legal representative of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ), hereby state the following facts : Account closure without notice On XX/XX/year>, Relay Financial closed our business account without prior notice or any stated reason. Non-receipt of closure funds On XX/XX/year>, Relay informed us that a closure check for USD XXXX had been issued and mailed. However, the check was never received. Relay used an incomplete mailing address because its app did not allow inclusion of the suite number in the address field. Incorrect address used : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX Correct address : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX We subsequently provided documentation verifying the suite number, yet the check was not delivered and no alternative transfer ( ACH or wire ) was offered or completed. Unreturned client transfer to closed account On July 1314, 2025, one of our clients, XXXX XXXX XXXX, sent a XXXX transfer to our Relay account, which was already closed at that time. Relay confirmed receipt but has neither returned the funds to the sender nor credited them to us. Transfer details ( as provided to Relay ) : Receiving account ( GB ) : XXXX XXXX XXXX Receiving bank ( XXXX ) : XXXX Transfer reference : XXXX Bank-to-bank reference : XXXX Date : XXXX XX/XX/year> Amount : XXXX Sender : XXXX XXXX XXXX Repeated but unresolved communications Over several months , we have contacted Relay repeatedly via email regarding both matters ( the missing closure funds and the unreturned client transfer ). Despite multiple follow-ups, no resolution, refund proof, or satisfactory response has been provided.
