On XX/XX/year>, at exactly XXXX XXXX., I made a {$9500.00} ( XXXX - XXXX dollar bills ) cash deposit into my chase checking account via the ATM at the XXXX XXXX, California XXXX XXXX immediately after selling my XXXX gram gold bar at XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Once I inserted the cash into the deposit tray, the tray closed, I heard the cash shuffle for at least a minute plus, after the ATM successfully took the money. Right after, the ATM machine printed a paper receipt that read to call XXXX. I called the number at XXXXXXXX XXXX. and the representative assigned me a claim number ( XXXX ) and was told the money would clear in 3 to 5 days pending their investigation. Meanwhile, a provisional credit was issued. On XX/XX/year> ( between XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I personally walked into the same bank to confirm my money went into my account. I was told by the bank XXXX XXXX that my money was in my account and she showed me a paper statement and assured me not to worry. Then on XX/XX/XXXX, Chase deducted {$9500.00} from my account so I immediately called the Claims Investigation department at XXXX and spoke with XXXX who is a supervisor. She stated on record that the machine was faulty ( her exact words ) and also acknowledged I was at the ATM machine, per the research team. Ive provided all the details to the branch and filed an internal complaint but have not received resolution to my cash deposit. The letters Chase has sent me only state that per their research, they are confirming no deposit was made to my account. I would like to personally view the surveillance footage along with audio if applicable. Additionally, a request to audit the ATM deposit logs from that day and forth.
