CFPB Complaint Inaccurate Reporting After Pay-for-Delete Settlement I am filing this complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and Bank of America for inaccurate and misleading credit reporting in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) regulations. Both creditors and I entered into pay-for-delete settlement agreements, where they agreed that upon payment, the accounts would be considered satisfied and deleted or updated to reflect a positive/paid status. I fulfilled my obligations under these agreements in full.
