Mohela bought out my student loans while I was still in XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I refinanced my student loans with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX they sent XXXX disbursements totaling {$40000.00} to Mohela to pay off student loans. I received no letter but only email stating my loan was paid and {$0.00} balance. I received an email from Mohela in XX/XX/XXXX that they were moving to a new platform. I also received an email stating with a statement stating I still owed $ XXXX. I had already sent an email previous to this to confirm loans were paid off because it looked like I had a credit indicating that XXXX XXXX might have over paid and received an email back on the Mohela website ( that I cant access anymore ) confirming loans were paid off and if any extra would be mailed back to XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX I sent a email to Mohela stating that I wanted an audit done XXXX my account because my students loans had never gone over {$41000.00}. And where did the extra $ XXXX come from which would put my student loans {$47000.00} which is no way when again my loans on my credit report stayed under $ XXXX. I only received a response that it would be looked into. Today, XX/XX/XXXX I decided to follow up. I spoke to a lady that advised that only XXXX loans were paid off and that I needed to provide proof of the disbursements from XXXX to Mohela. I advised the lady that all XXXX loans were paid off totaling roughly $ XXXX and that I had received an email that my loan balance was {$0.00}. I asked how in the world did $ XXXX from XXXX disbursements disappear?? Because my student loans were only $ XXXX. So XXXX sent $ XXXX to pay off loans so where in the heck did $ XXXX come from?? I have all the proof from my credit report showing I owed less than $ XXXX on student loans. I have proof of the XXXX disbursements that XXXX sent to Mohela to pay off ALL loans. So I want an audit conducted on where the $ XXXX from the refinance went?? I didnt want to have to file a complaint but it has finally come to that!
