Consumer Narrative
I am filing this CFPB complaint because I filed two claims with Bank of America on XX/XX/2025 ( Claim IDs : XXXX and XXXX ). Both were closed without a proper investigation. I specifically requested documentation from the merchant to verify the validity of the charges, yet no evidence was providedbecause the merchant never supplied any, and I am 100 percent certain of this as I never did business with them. This is unacceptable and frankly disgusting. I demand the documents that supposedly prove these charges are valid FROM THE MERCHANTS, as well as the required provisional credit in the meantime. Despite the complete lack of supporting evidence, the bank still deemed the charges authorized. This conclusion is illogical and shows a clear lack of due diligence. I have already filed a complaint with the State Attorney Generals Office and am prepared to pursue this matter to the fullest extent to recover my funds. This involves a significant amount of money that I urgently need returned. Additionally, I never received provisional credit, which further violates consumer protection standards. The handling of this case by Bank of Americas fraud department has been unacceptable, and I expect immediate action to return my hard-earned funds.
