I am filing a complaint regarding U.S. Banks handling of a fraudulent balance transfer check. A U.S. Bank promotional balance transfer check mailed to me was stolen and fraudulently cashed for {$8700.00}, plus a {$430.00} fee ( total {$9100.00} ). I did not receive, authorize, or use this check. I also did not receive any verification or notification from U.S. Bank when the transaction occurred. I reported the fraud to U.S. Bank immediately upon discovering the charge, but the bank has refused to credit back the fraudulent amount.
