What happened : This is a corporate-level complaint, not against any individual branch or employee. I am a XXXX visitor in the XXXX and have accounts with several banks in XXXX and XXXX. On [ insert date ], I experienced repeated card lockouts and declines from Bank of America despite having sufficient funds and even overpaying my credit card balance. Timeline : XXXX XXXX : First purchase went through, second declined for Unusual Transaction Activity. Card locked. I called support, who said they could not unlock my card and told me to visit a branch. In heavy rain, I went to the branch with two IDs and had the card unlocked. Locked Again After Branch : Returned to XXXX, card was locked again. Called support unlocked tried again declined again. Only after a second unlock could I finally complete my purchase. XXXX : My card was declined and locked again. I called support, and they said, Everything is fine now, you can go again and make your purchase again. I tried again and was still declined.
